Kiwi fruit is a fruit of Chinese origin, typical of temperate climates and contains more vitamin C than oranges. It has an oval and flat shape, the skin is covered with small brown hairs and the pulp is completely green, caused by chlorophyll.

According to research, this fruit has vitamins B1, B6, C, E and provitamin A (carotene), in addition to potassium, iron, phosphorus, magnesium, copper, calcium, phosphate, niacin and dietary fiber.

Currently, countries such as Italy, New Zealand, Chile, France, Japan and the United States are the world’s largest producers of the fruit. In addition to being consumed and appreciated fresh and in the preparation of salads, this citrus fruit is widely used in the manufacture of juices and ice cream and can also be used in the form of tea.

Kiwi, orange and cinnamon tea


– 1.5 liters of water;
– 3 shelled kiwi fruit;
– 1 orange;
– Cinnamon.

Preparation method:

Cut the kiwi into small pieces and squeeze the orange. Boil the ingredients in 1.5 liters of water for 15 minutes. Strain and serves hot or chilled.
