Do you suffer from oiliness in your hair? Know that there are home and natural remedies that help reduce this problem.
What to do?
In these cases, the main tip is that you should wash your hair daily. If the oil is too strong, wash it twice a day. Look for deep cleansing shampoos, and let them work for a few minutes before rinsing. Although water is the main means of rinsing, you can use other homemade products that will improve the reduction of oiliness.
rosemary tea
Extremely aromatic, this herb contains essential oils that help control excess sebum production in the scalp. Prepare an infusion with a cup of boiling water and two tablespoons of dehydrated rosemary. Wait 20 minutes, strain, allow to cool and store the mixture in an empty shampoo bottle. Then, after each wash, spread the tea on your hair. If you like the scent of rosemary, no rinsing is necessary.
Lemonade
Use caution when using this recipe as lemon splashes on the skin can cause severe burns if exposed to the sun. Mix the juice of two lemons in two cups of distilled water, then store in an empty shampoo bottle. After showering, dry your hair and apply the lemonade on your scalp. Allow the lemon acid to act for five minutes, then wash it off with cold water.
Final considerations
While this is not a serious problem, some people do suffer from oiliness. If, in your case, this high production of sebaceous glands interferes with your daily life, and your self-esteem, it’s good to look for a solution for that. Home measures are effective most of the time, and are usually pretty easy to follow. But there are people where the problem goes deeper. Therefore, if natural does not work, it is advisable to see a dermatologist.
