Teas for the treatment of headache

by Dianna Leon

There are different types of headaches, they are distinguished by having different characteristics. Some are intense and pulsating, with symptoms of photophobia (difficulty looking at the light) and phonophobia (refusal of noises, especially those that are more acute). There is also the one that starts at the nape of the neck, the cervicogenic one, runs through the top of the head and goes down to the eyes.

There are still those related to the inflammation of the lining of the face that occurs when sinusitis is processed ; and it has the terrible pains that are attached to the trigeminal nerve.

The causes of pain can be associated with alcohol intake, certain foods, some diseases, and especially tension problems and stress cases . The headache is not in the brain and the discomfort caused by it can reach any part of the head.

Some foods are recommended by nutritionists to be avoided, certain substances can trigger crises. This is the case of tyramine, which can be found in yellow cheeses, chocolates, alcoholic beverages, etc. Foods that are packaged, processed and canned are also offensive.
