Ingredients:

– 5 orange leaves
– 1 liter of water
– Sugar, sweetener or honey (optional)

Preparation :

Wash the leaves well and then tear them into small pieces. Add water together with the leaves in a kettle or pan, and leave it on the fire until the water starts to boil. After turning off the heat, close or smother the pan and let it rest for approximately 10 minutes. Strain the tea and drink it warm. You can add sugar, sweetener or honey to make the tea even more flavorful.

Two to three cups of tea should be taken throughout the day, depending on your needs. If you have insomnia, it is recommended that you take a small portion of the drink an hour before bedtime. To alleviate cramps, the tea should start days before the menstrual period.

Tip: If you don’t find an orange tree so easily, you can try buying the leaves at some tea shops or go to a grocery store or fair, and buy some oranges that still have the leaves.
