The anxiety stirs the body and mind. It is related to fear, anguish, distress and uncertainty, and can cause very unpleasant symptoms such as stomach pain , shortness of breath, tachycardia, headache , dizziness, insomnia and others. More severe cases should be treated by a doctor. In some, psychotherapy needs to be combined with medication prescribed by a psychiatrist. However, in the most common and simple cases of everyday life, anxiety can be overcome with some teas . Check out!

Tea Recipes That Soothe Anxiety Symptoms

Rosemary

Although little known for its calming property , rosemary can be effective in combating anxiety. To prepare tea, simply pour a shallow tablespoon of rosemary leaves into a cup of boiling water. Cover and let sit for a few minutes before straining. The ideal is to drink this tea twice a day. If you prefer, you can add a little honey to make the infusion sweeter.

Melissa

Melissa is also called lemongrass and is easily confused with lemongrass . Its tea is excellent for those who are nervous and suffer from anxiety attacks. To make, just boil a cup of water and add a tablespoon of the chopped melissa leaves. Close the cup and let it sit for ten minutes so the tea will be more incorporated. Strain, add a teaspoon of honey if you like, and drink right away. It is recommended to drink the tea three times a day for best results.

God

The coral tree tea is recommended for those who suffer from anxiety, but pregnant women and people with low pressure or use medication for hypertension should not take. It is made from the decoction of the bark and branches of the tree. To make, boil a liter of water with two tablespoons of mulungu for ten minutes. Remove from heat and simmer for another ten minutes so you can strain and drink. Drink two or three cups a day.

chamomile

Known worldwide as a natural tranquilizer , chamomile is really soothing. In addition to calming the nerves, chamomile tea also eliminates stress symptoms . It’s easy to make at home, as you just need to put the plant’s flowers in a cup of boiling water and let it rest for five minutes. Then just strain and drink as many times as you like, but remember not to overdo it.

Passion fruit

Like juice, tea from this fruit is good for calming the nerves. This tea is made simply. Place a dessert spoon of passion fruit leaves and a spoon of lemongrass, if desired, in a cup of boiling water. Let it settle for a few minutes, strain and drink it three times a day.
