Benefits of Mutamba Tea
The drink is made from the mutamba bark. It has healing, astringent, antiseptic properties, stimulates sweat production and is great for unblocking the liver.
The tea helps in the treatment of various respiratory diseases, such as asthma, bronchitis and coughs. Drinking also helps relieve fever symptoms, for example.
The crushed mutamba seed drink mixed with water is also great for treating stomach problems, diarrhea, ulcers, flu, colds, venereal disease, bruises and is a great natural diuretic.
- 2 tablespoons of mutamba bark;
- 1 liter of water.
Mix the water with the matumba bark in a saucepan and cook over low heat. Once the water has boiled, let the ingredients cook for another 10 minutes.
When this time has passed, turn off the heat and smother the drink for another 10 minutes. Strain the tea before consuming.
