Migraine Fighting Teas
orange tea
The high content of vitamin C present in orange strengthens the immune system and, consequently, protects the body against migraine.
Ingredients:
– 2 oranges;
– 300 ml of water;
– Honey to taste.
Preparation mode:
Peel the oranges and place their skins in a container of water and boil for approximately 5 minutes. Meanwhile, with the help of a juicer, remove all the juice from the oranges. After that, mix the juice with the orange peel tea. Strain and sweeten to taste with honey. Drink the tea while it’s still warm, several times a day.
Mint tea
Mint contains essential oils with analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties that help relieve both migraine attacks and common headaches.
Ingredients:
– 10 mint leaves;
– 200 ml of water.
Preparation mode:
Bring the 10 mint leaves to boil in 200 ml of water for approximately 3 minutes. Strain and sweeten to taste. Drink the drink at the time of preparation.
Ginger, lemon and mint tea
Like peppermint, ginger also contains anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, helping with migraine attacks. Lemon is a food that detoxifies our body.
Ingredients:
– 1 liter of water;
– 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger;
– 3 lemon slices (if organic, even better);
