Preparation mode
Buy boldo leaves at street markets or natural food stores in your city or even online. The beneficial effects of boldo tea can be found in both fresh and dried leaves. When purchasing the herb, first start by washing it. Then chop the leaves into small pieces with your own hands.
While you clean the main ingredient, put the water on the fire and bring it to a boil. After the boiling process, place the chopped herb in the cup with hot water and cover the container. Leave to steep for up to 10 minutes, then strain the tea and serve.
How to take it?
The ideal is to drink the drink without the addition of any type of sugar. Even sweeteners and honey are prohibited. Despite the bitter taste, it is preferable to drink tea without sugar, as it is easier to preserve its medicinal properties.
Already according to the amount ingested, this will depend on what problem you want to treat. See below how this medicine should be administered:
- Liver problems: One cup before meals and one before bedtime;
- Diarrhea: Drink one cup, at least four times a day, for short periods;
