Also known as white cambará, chamarita, it kills pasture and dries, the plant roasts fish is a shrub that can reach three meters in height. Common in cerrados, the plant easily multiplies in infertile soils, and is considered a weed in some cultures. It is said that the honey produced by bees in regions close to this bush is soft and delicious, with a flavor similar to orange honey.

Among its active ingredients are alkaloids, glycosides, flavonoids, essential oil and mineral salts. Its benefits involve anti-asthmatic, anti-flu, anti-hemorrhoid, antilytic, balsamic, bequica, diuretic, expectorant, hemostatic and pulmonary tonic action.
Rich in mineral salts, the herb is indicated for the treatment of skin and uterine conditions, asthma, bronchitis, kidney stones, bruises, diabetes, muscle pain, pulmonary flu, hemorrhoids, lithiasis, pneumonia, back and chest twinges, colds, rheumatism, kidney problems, cough, tracheobronchitis and other respiratory tract affections.

Boil the water and add the chopped leaves, leaving it on the fire for another five minutes. Strain and add two cups of honey coffee, mixing well. For adults, the ideal is to take a tablespoon, two to three times a day.
No side effects for the consumption of the plant were found in the current literature. Fish roast tea should not be ingested by pregnant women and lactating women.
