Buchu, also known as bucco, diosma, barosma betulina is a plant that can be used in alternative medicine to treat problems ranging from urinary infections to respiratory diseases.

Buchu tea can be used to treat inflammation of the mucous membranes, vagina and colon, gastric problems such as ulcers and gastritis, respiratory diseases such as asthma, pneumonia, pulmonary edema and bronchitis. It also helps to cure bladder irritations, urinary tract inflammation, painful urination and prostate problems.
