In this tea recipe, apple peel is used, rich in malic acid, cystine and arginine, useful elements in preventing obesity, uric acid problems and diseases associated with the kidneys.


– 1 cinnamon stick;

– Peel of an apple;

– 1 glass of water;

– 1 tablespoon of honey.

Preparation mode:

First, thoroughly clean the apple peel. Then bring the glass of water to a boil and add the cinnamon and apple peel. Leave on fire for approximately 15 minutes and, after this period, leave to stand for another 10. Serve in a cup and sweeten with honey.

nettle tea

According to the European Medicines Agency, nettle is one of the best plants for taking care of the kidneys. This medicinal plant is rich in flavonoids, potassium, essential oils, vitamin C and other nutrients. Among its benefits are the following: it has a diuretic effect, helps to eliminate salts that form kidney stones, reduces inflammation in the urinary tract, prevents fluid retention and the formation of edema.

Nettle tea also includes carrots, which can boost diuretic functions and benefit from the beverage’s antioxidant properties.


– 5 nettle leaves;

– 1 glass of water;

– 1 carrot.

Preparation mode:

First, clean the carrots and blend in a blender. Reserve the juice.

Put the nettle leaves to boil in water for 20 minutes. After this period, let it rest for a few more minutes. Then mix with carrot juice.

It is recommended that this tea be taken twice a week.

parsley tea

Parsley has diuretic properties, works to eliminate toxins and helps dissolve accumulated salts that can form kidney stones. In addition, it is a source of vitamin C and strengthens our immune system.


– 1 tablespoon of parsley;

– 2 glasses of water.

Preparation mode:

Bring the cups of water to a boil. Then add the parsley and let it steep for 15 or 20 minutes.

After this time, let it rest for another 15 minutes and strain. To take care of the kidneys, it is recommended that one cup of this tea is taken on an empty stomach, and another after the main meal of the day. This treatment can be carried out for five consecutive days, once a month.
