It is also an excellent source of fiber and potassium, which not only help regulate cholesterol, but also lower high blood pressure, bringing benefits to the heart.

Ginger tea

The Ginger has properties that serve as  analgesics, antifungal, anti-pyretic and inhibitor of platelet aggregation, preventing the formation of thrombi.

The compound found in the root also helps lower cholesterol levels, while ginger’s antioxidant properties benefit blood vessels.

  • 3 inches of fresh ginger;
  • 1L of water
  • 1 lemon
