When it comes to heartburn , a burning in the stomach that affects mainly those who have a bad diet, the tea indicated for the treatment is lemon balm , which provides extra protection for the stomach mucosa. For the preparation, use the proportion of half a teaspoon for each cup of boiling water. Prepare in the same way as the one of espinheira santa. Take twice a day.

For reflux , burning that usually reaches the esophagus, the recommended tea is ginger , which normalizes contractions and relieves nausea. Cook for ten minutes the proportion of a teaspoon of ginger and a cup of water. Consume tea three times a day. Consumption should be avoided by pregnant women and people with high blood pressure.

Other measures

– Beat three cabbage leaves and half a glass of water in a blender. Consume on an empty stomach.

– Cook five medium potatoes until they are tender. Drink the potato broth four times a day.
