Add a little boiling water and a teaspoon of dried, chopped umbaúba leaves to a cup of tea. Smother by letting it steep for five minutes and strain. Drink one cup up to three times a day.
Bronchitis, Asthma and Cough
In a liter of water, add three tablespoons of dried umbaúba leaves. Simmer for about five minutes and turn off the heat. Smother the tea for another 10 minutes and wait for it to warm. Drink a cup two to three times a day.
Attention: Pregnant women and mothers who are still breastfeeding should not consume umbaúba tea.
Tea for external use
Umbaúba tea can also provide benefits for skin conditions, wounds and even vaginal discharge. To make it, just add three tablespoons of the dried and chopped umbaúba leaves in half a liter of water, leaving it to boil for about 10 minutes. Once ready, strain and let it warm to use. In the treatment of wounds and skin conditions, it is enough to wash the affected areas with several times a day. For vaginal discharge, take sitz baths.
