- Simple Decoction: Mash a teaspoon of the seeds and reserve them in a container with a lid. Then put on fire two glasses of filtered water and wait for it to boil. When the liquid is boiling, lower the heat and add the seeds. Simmer for up to five minutes. Once the allotted time has passed, turn off the heat, strain and wait for it to cool. When you’re done, drink a cup of tea between your main meals of the day;
- Infusion: This tea can be very bitter and not very pleasing to the palate, but it is a great remedy for those who suffer from flatulence, for example. Just put a tablespoon of habu seed in a cup of boiling water. The container is capped and after 10 minutes the drink is ready to be consumed;
- More elaborate decoction: Knead a tablespoon of seeds. Then set aside the ingredient while two cups of filtered water are boiling. When the liquid comes to a boil, add the seeds and simmer until the liquid is half as long. Then just strain and drink when it’s already cold.
