Banana Tea Recipes
dehydrated bananas
Select some banana peels and wash them to remove impurities. On an oven-safe tray, spread out the banana peels and let them bake for approximately an hour or until they dry. With the dehydrated husks you can make a tea, soaking them in hot water and letting them brew for a few minutes.
Banana, cloves and cinnamon
To make this delicious tea, place the cinnamon and cloves in a liter of water and bring to the fire. When it comes to a boil, add two chopped bananas – preferably with the skin – and cover the pan, letting it boil for a few more minutes. When turning off the heat, let the tea simmer until it cools. The liquid can be ingested when strained, but there is a more delicious option: after it is cold, take the tea to a blender and blend until it becomes homogeneous. Refrigerate the vitamin and consume it chilled.
banana peel powder
Select banana peels, wash them and take them to the freezer. Once frozen they will turn black. Place the skins in the oven at a low temperature so they dry in approximately one hour. Once cold and dehydrated, break the shells with your hands and place in a blender to blend. With this powder you can make many teas, and one teaspoon is enough for your banana tea. Just mix hot water and powder. This infusion is excellent to be consumed before bedtime, as it promotes a more restful sleep.
