Unsurprisingly, chamomile tea has several health benefits. But it’s also a great natural ingredient for esthetics.

Chamomile is a great ally for those who have their hair in lighter tones, but who want to lighten them even more without having to use chemicals to do so.

The plant is always present in various shampoo or moisturizing formulas to lighten hair. But it is not necessary to buy these manufactured products (much less dye your locks) so that a more natural and hydrated result for lightened hair is achieved.

In order to obtain this result, it will only be necessary to prepare a very strong tea.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons of chamomile flowers or 2 tea bags of chamomile;
  • 1 glass of water.

Preparation mode

Make chamomile tea by boiling the water with the flowers or sachets for 2 minutes. Turn off the heat, cover and let it cool while the tea rests. Strain the tea if necessary, and with the hair already washed, take the tea and go through the hair using a cotton swab or a spray bottle.

Carefully pass through all hair so there is no risk of staining. Comb your hair carefully while applying the tea. Use a plastic cap and leave it for 20 minutes – if you can go out in the sun during this period – the heat enhances the action of the chamomile. If the process is carried out in cold weather, you can use a hair dryer.
