Oatmeal as a treatment for swelling
Many people have the habit of saying that they do not like to eat oatmeal because “it doesn’t feel good”, being quite indigestible, producing a feeling of malaise and being heavy. It is important, according to doctors, to consult a health professional, as in these cases you may have an allergy. That’s because oats are one of the healthiest foods out there.
Slowly absorbed, oats help to improve the functioning of the intestine and, therefore, allow the absorption of nutrients to be done in an improved way. In addition, the infusion of oats helps to improve digestion, causing food to be absorbed more slowly and, consequently, more suitable for the body.
The infusion also has an intense diuretic power, regulating the problem of fluid retention, which in itself solves most cases of swelling in the belly region. In addition, it works by activating the metabolism and making the foods that are stored producing gas to be processed correctly, helping to reduce bloating from intestinal gas.
By helping to combat stress – which in turn overloads the body and stores toxins produced by cortisol –, it also helps reduce retention and dyspepsia.
Oats are considered by many to be “superfood”, as they are rich in many vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates and amino acids, as well as being an excellent source of fiber. It is a food with anti-inflammatory properties, making it excellent for those who have irritable bowel problems.
This food is also excellent for combating stress and anxiety, in addition to reducing the daily burden that, with the rush of work, home, children, family, among others, always ends up hitting us. It regulates neurotransmitters, helping to relax, as well as being effective in balancing blood pressure.

– 600 ml of mineral water
– 100 g of oats
– 1 piece of cinnamon stick (about 5g)
– 1 tablespoon of honey
In a container, put the water and bring to a boil. When it starts to boil, add the oats, cinnamon and honey and cook for 30 minutes. Then cover and let stand for at least an hour. Then strain and consume.
The first glass of the day should be consumed before breakfast, the second 15 minutes before lunch and the third 15 minutes before dinner.
The treatment must be done, initially, three times a week so that you can understand how the body reacts.
