  • Garlic tea – This tea mainly combats acute coughing and should always be consumed warm, so don’t make it in large quantities. It should preferably be consumed in the morning and before bedtime. To Make: Peel and mash two cloves of garlic and place them in a mug. Add 250ml of pre-boiled water and a teaspoon of grated ginger. Cover the mug and keep the tea muffled for about three minutes, drink it as soon as it is warm. If you prefer, sweeten it with honey.
