Diarrhea is a condition that can be a symptom of other illnesses. Initially, some homemade teas with potent herbs can help to improve this discomfort.
In the case of simple diarrhea, without blood or other symptoms, the main resulting complication is precisely dehydration. Adults are generally more resilient, but the elderly, children and babies demand extra attention. At the first sign of this ailment, some natural teas can help treat this condition. But if you find that even taking these home remedies the diarrhea persists, see a doctor immediately.
Guava and pomegranate sprout tea
In a crockery or glass bowl, add half a cup of guava sprouts, a cup of pomegranate peel and four tablespoons of lime. Then pour in a liter of boiling water and cover the pot until the tea cools.
When cold, add a teaspoon of sea salt and two tablespoons of honey. Strain, and drink about a tablespoon every 20 minutes.
Oak bark and chamomile tea
Put a liter of water in a pan (preferably glass). When it is boiling, add four tablespoons of oak bark, four tablespoons of chamomile and four tablespoons of guava sprouts. Wait for an average of three minutes, then turn off the heat and let it warm. After that, add a cup of ground charcoal (very fine, like powder), and strain.
Drink three tablespoons of this tea every hour. Remember to shake the bowl well before serving.
white rose and mallow tea
In a bowl of three cups of boiling water, place a tablespoon of white rose, a tablespoon of mallow and a tablespoon of lime. Allow it to cool, strain, then divide again into three cups. For each cup of this tea, add a tablespoon of lemon juice and a tablespoon of cornstarch or arrowroot at the time of serving. Mix well and drink immediately.
