How to consume?
These teas should be consumed for two weeks, in a measure between 500 ml and 1 liter a day, always between the three main meals. When incorporated into a diet, tea recipes can help provide a loss of up to 5 kg in a 15-day period. Always prefer to use natural and fresh ingredients for preparation, avoiding sachets. But beware: this dose should only be consumed in the first two weeks. After this period, make moderate consumption.
Teas that provide slimming
mint tea
Mint tea should be brewed with a tablespoon of dried leaves for every cup of water. Bring the water to the fire and, when it comes to a boil, add the leaves. Simmer for about five minutes and then turn off. Let it warm and, if necessary, sweeten moderately with honey. This tea speeds up digestion, making the body burn more calories, and can be consumed hot or cold, always before meals.
white tea
White tea is made from the new leaves and buds of the plant. With more effective action than green tea – made with the same plant -, white tea speeds up metabolism promoting fat burning, increases the level of antioxidants, in addition to lowering sugar levels. It also has antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal action. To prepare it, infuse the leaves for a period of approximately 10 minutes.
yerba mate tea
Yerba Mate tea helps fight cancer and is rich in antioxidants and polyphenols. Its consumption also promotes the increase of an enzyme that promotes good cholesterol, known as HDL, preventing the oxidation of fats. To prepare, put boiling water on top of the herb, and leave it covered for a period of approximately ten minutes, straining and then consuming.
rose tea
Rose tea is one of the oldest, made with a mixture of roses and their buds. In addition to eliminating toxins from the body, it leaves the skin prettier and fights infections. It combats constipation, preventing swelling and discomfort generated by it, and improving digestion, consequently helping with weight loss. For your preparation, use 1 or 2 cups of the petals for every three cups of water. Bring to the fire and, when it comes to a boil, leave it in the fire for another five minutes. Then strain and consume.
