Many people’s nightmare is the terrible tummy, hard to lose but very easy to win. The volume that bothers, in addition to deforming the silhouette and marking on different clothes, is very difficult to lose and, when it does, to maintain as well. And, contrary to what many people think, this is not just a problem for those who are overweight: some people, even with thin bodies, develop this terrible tummy.

How to lose belly?
There are people who, with a lot of effort and dedication, manage to solve part of the problem with the abdominals, but even so, the solution is not totally found. Sit-ups help in the fight against abdominal volume due to the muscles that, when toned, already count a point in favor.
Localized and aerobic exercises help burn calories so that they use up some of the accumulated fat. Diet, however, is an essential element to get rid of those little fats that bother us so much. Some foods, therefore, help to lose the belly and prevent it from appearing, such as wheat and rice bran, whole grains and breads, vegetables, roots, fruits (such as oranges and apples), foods rich in fiber, meat lean and water (at least 8 glasses a day).
Another important prevention tip is to chew your food very slowly, thus avoiding the intake of air. Your daily meals should be divided into up to 6 small portions and, at night, try to eat lighter things, because at this time your metabolism is slower.
What not to do?
There are some foods and beverages that should be avoided because, due to fermentation, they cause swelling. Also, other foods, or too much salt, help to accumulate fluid, increasing swelling. Foods that should be avoided are beans, fried foods and fatty foods, sorbitol sweeteners, dried fruits (plums and apricots, for example), red meat, breads, cakes, fermented cookies, soft drinks, beer, draft beer, canned goods and sausages, dry and fortified cereals.
Teas to lose belly
Herbal teas can be excellent options for those seeking to lose weight. Green tea, for example, already has thermogenic properties that help with weight loss and, when added to pineapple, guarantees even better results.
