Ingredients
- 1 liter of water;
- 10 to 15 acerola leaves;
- Cinnamon sticks;
- Sugar, sweetener or honey (optional).
I prepare and consume
First, it is important to wash the leaves well, as there may be traces of small insects or any other substance that could be harmful to human health.
Then bring the water to a boil. Meanwhile, mash the leaves in a pestle. As soon as the water comes to a boil, turn off the heat and place the leaves in the water. Let the mixture rest for about 20 minutes, always with the pan covered. After that, you can drink the tea while it’s still warm.
